Dr. Peter Cartwright – Executive Dean

Dr Peter Cartwright has been with Cambridge International College since 2014, first as Director of Higher Education and since 2017 as Executive Dean. Peter has over 25 years’ experience in tertiary education roles.
Prior to coming to Cambridge International College, Peter was Associate Dean – International and Development at La Trobe University in Melbourne Australia. He has wide experience in international education which has taken him to over 20 countries across Asia, Europe and South America. From 1998 to 1999 he was the Marie Curie European Postdoctoral Fellow in Milan Italy.

Peter has been a member of various committees and boards including La Trobe University International Strategy Committee and is on the TEQSA Register of Experts. Peter’s academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science (Honours), PhD from La Trobe University, and Graduate Certificates in Business Administration and Higher Education.


Dr. Katalin Dobos – Deputy Dean

Dr Katalin Dobos joined Cambridge International College (CIC) in July 2014 as Director of Higher Education and Campus Director at its Perth Campus. In June 2017, Katalin was concurrently appointed Academic Director and Campus Director of Southern Cross University (Perth Campus) and then accepted an appointment at CIC’s Melbourne Campus. From August 2017, Katalin was Associate Dean (Teaching and Learning) and in November 2017 was appointed Deputy Dean. Katalin previously worked at Curtin University in WA, coordinating large first year multidisciplinary units in the academic communications area, from 2006 to 2014.

Katalin has published journal articles and a book on the internationalisation of higher education, and Australian academics’ experience of working and studying on offshore campuses.

Katalin’s academic qualifications includes a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the College for Foreign Trade in Budapest, Hungary and a Bachelor degree in South East Asian and Chinese Studies from Murdoch University. Katalin also has a Master of Applied Linguistics and a Doctorate of Education from the University of Western Australia.
